Before I got here this morning I didn't have time to grab some coffee before heading out to Jazz Fest, so I walked over to the Cafe' Du Monde booth near the Jazz tent and got an order of beignets and a large frozen Cafe' o'Lait (frozen cause its really hot). This is what got me through this morning's press conference and helped me make it out around the Fest.
As usual there was a line, but it was the only line at the food booth, possibly because we had just walked inside and all of us needed a pick me up. Heck even the tables nearby only have coffee and beignets in front of the breakfasters. I guess it was just too early for crawfish and beer.
Needless to say I snapped a quick shot of this extremely tasty breakfast for all of you out there. Again, try not to drool on the keyboard.
